“The View” hosts defended Taylor Swift amid allegations that she used a “fatphobic” narrative in her anti-hero music video.
The music video debuted on October 21.
In response to the allegations, the show’s co-host Sunny Hostin stated that Swift was describing a “personal experience.
"Every single person knew what she meant," Hosting added, suggesting that video was being misinterpreted.
Whoopi Goldberg urged individuals who don’t like the song not to listen to it.
Goldberg said, “Just let her have her feelings. If you don't like the song, don't listen to it.”
Co-host Alyssa Farah Griffin said Swift often shares her personal experiences in her music.
“Anti-Hero” has amassed over 30 million views since its debut.
Fans of swift said they could relate to the song and video.
