Star Wars fans are anxious for a new movie.
The last one to hit theaters was 2019’s “The Rise of Skywalker.”
Since then, Lucasfilm has been keeping the franchise alive on Disney+.
They have planned prequel shows for many characters, like “Obi-Wan Kenobi” and “Andor.”
However, fans are excited to see another side of the galaxy far, far away.
Shawn Levy is a big Star Wars fans and included many references in his movies “Free Guy” and “The Adam Project.”
“I have this golden ticket into a galaxy far away,” he said, saying it’s a “privilege” to make a Star Wars movie.
However, he has to finish up work on “Deadpool 3” before he begins working on Star Wars.
He said, “This is definitely development and not yet close to prep. So there's a lot of work to be done.”
