Selma Blair announced her Multiple Sclerosis diagnosis in 2018 and recently updated on her health status.
Speaking to Self magazine, she shared her journey with the disease and how it impacted her life.
She noted that her symptoms were extensive and lasting.
However, after going for a risky stem cell transplant which turned out well for her as she finally stopped having regressions.
The actress noted that it stopped progressing for the first time since 2018, and she stopped losing abilities.
However she shared that even with the regression, the disease still haunts her daily life, especially her physical cells.
The star supported her long-time friend Christina Applegate amidst her MS diagnosis in 2021.
Blair talked about how grateful she was to watch Applegate receive a star at the Hollywood Walk of Fame ceremony.
She also noted that she tried to support the newly diagnosed 51-year-old with canes and things to aid her new reality.
