Selena Gomez posted a photo looking up at a street sign which read “Waverly Pl.” reminiscing on her time at Disney.
She captioned the tribute post with “where it all began,” recalling the early days of her career.
She played Alex Russo on the Disney show “Wizards of Waverly Place” from 2006 to 2008.
The role sky-rocketed her career as she landed lead roles in other films outside Disney and released six successful studio albums.
She previously spoke with her on-screen brother David Henrie about rebooting the show “For fun.”
Gomez has spoken fondly about the show several times.
She noted to Entertainment Weekly, that her current role as Mabel in “Only Murders in the Building” felt like an older version of Alex Russo.
Vanessa Hudgens and Zac Efron also paid tribute to their time on the Disney channel over the summer.
They both individually shared photos standing in front of the “High School Musical” East High campus reminiscing their Disney days.
