During an exclusive interview, the inquisitive host wanted to know who Brunson thought highly of.

The "Abbott Elementary" star replied by commending Kaling for being extraordinary.

In Brunson's opinion, Kaling isn't getting the accolades she deserves for her work.

The "Squad" actress expressed her love for Kaling's hit series "Never Have I Ever".

Kaling's career officially began when she started writing for "The Office" series in its first season.

The screenwriter revealed she almost got cut from the list of producers when the show won an Emmy.

Kaling, however, moved on to greater things and produced her show, "The Mindy Project"

The 43-year-old has recently signed a deal to co-write, "Legally Blonde 3."
