Fashion model Tatjana Patitz passed away on January 11 at age 56.

Her agent confirmed that she died from breast cancer.

Tatjana graced many of the most iconic magazine covers.

She appeared on the cover of Vogue six times.

Many of her famous friends in the industry have paid tribute to her on social media.

One of these was Czech-born model Paulina Porizkova, 57.

Paulina recalled how she met Tatjana had a party in Vienna.

“I got to know this beautiful woman, get a sense of her fragility and her full heart,” Paulina explained.

She concluded, “Death sucks and it isn’t fair.”
