Pamela Anderson is reflecting on her sex tape scandal from 1995.
In a recent interview, the actress discussed the subject, saying that the release of the footage hurt her.
"Those tapes were not meant for anybody else to see," she said.
Anderson said that she had decided not to view the video.
She further revealed that being a mother saved her from the trauma.
"Pam and Tommy" on Hulu recently highlighted the sex tape.
The resurfacing of the sex tape in media discussions spurred Anderson to take charge of her own story.
"I want to take control of the narrative for the first time," the actress said in the trailer of her upcoming documentary, “Pamela a love story.”
According to the director of the documentary, Ryan White, the actress has given the project her all.
