OJ Simpson has decided to try his luck!

The former NFL Player boldly made a huge request, in hopes of getting a Twitter verification.

The sports broadcaster recently posted a video on his Twitter account, specifically addressing Elon Musk.

He began by saying, “Let me start off by congratulating Elon Musk for taking over Twitter.”

He proceeded by laying out his demand, asking, “Maybe I can get authenticated, maybe I can get a blue check”?

The former football player in a bid to solidify his request, revealed that other fake accounts were impersonating his real account.

Simpson concluded his short clip with an optimistic tone hoping that he gets his real account verified.

However due to the controversy surrounding him and the death of his wife and her friend, Twitter users were displeased by his video.

An unimpressed user sarcastically asked "who had to be killed to get verified."
