Nick Cannon has revealed why he did not allow his late son Zen to undergo chemotherapy.
The infant died five months after his birth due to an aggressive form of brain cancer known as Glioma.
Cannon shared that going through chemo did not guarantee Zen would live long.
"They pretty much told me that best case scenario, your son could live to 3 or 4 years old," the actor said of his doctor’s remark.
He also revealed that the option would have given their son a poor quality of life.
The "Masked" singer revealed that the final days of his child were "tough."
Scott's resilience and strength helped them weather the difficult time.
The trio spent Zen's final days making memories.
Cannon and Scott are currently expecting a second child, who is due anytime from now.
