Mel C, aka Sporty Spice, confirmed that the group would not perform at the festival.

During an Interview with The Guardian, she spoke about her recent dive into modern dance with choreographer Jules Cunningham.

She noted that while promoting the dance show, she was hit with questions about the all-girls group.

Fans wanted to know if the festival’s co-organizer Emily Eavis had called on the band.

She noted that although they would have loved to perform, it did not fit into their schedules.

Earlier, it was reported that the group had plans to do a tour but with the presence of their member Victoria Beckham.

Mel C explained that after the success of their 2019 tour, they wanted to reward their U.S. fans for sticking with them.

After making her fortune outside the famous band, Beckham reprised her role as Posh Spice for a docu-series.

The documentary was created so each member would talk about their take on the fortune, fame, and fandom achieved together.
