Lindsie Chrisley spoke about her reason for spending Thanksgiving away from her parents, Todd and Julie.

Lindsie said she didn’t want her son Jackson to see her parents in a less-than-stellar state.

She said they needed time to process their sentencing.

Lindsie revealed her son Jackson’s behavior contributed to the decision not to visit.

She had Jackson with Will Campbell, her ex-husband.

Lindsie and Todd were not on speaking terms until last year.

She said her father reached out after her divorce.

Todd and Julie were sentenced to 12 and 7 years in prison, respectively, with 16 months of probation.

They plan to appeal the case.
