Kelly Rizzo recently opened about her new sense of purpose following her devastating loss.

She marked nearly one year since the loss of her husband, Bob Saget.

Rizzo confessed it felt “surreal” not to have seen or spoken with Saget in a year.

However, her stepdaughters and her partner's friends supported her during her grief.

The travel creator admitted her grief has evolved into “tremendous gratitude” for the time with her late husband.

Nevertheless, she plans on turning the sad experience into something positive.

Recently Rizzo memorialized him during the holidays with a beautiful tribute.

She recalled their last Christmas in Chicago where Saget made a lasting impression.

She didn’t believe it would be their last Christmas together.
