With a different last name, she easily slipped under the radar, something Winslet feels was good for her.

Now, the real-life mother and daughter are working together in a movie.

The two-hour drama, “I am Ruth” will be released by Channel 4 on December 8.

It focuses on teenage mental health in face of destructive social media pressure.

Winslet feels her daughter did not need her at all when it came to performance.

In fact, the proud momma claims, Mia blew her away with her screen confidence and presence.
