Reggae singer Jo Mersa Marley is dead, aged just 31.

He reportedly died of an asthma attack, although no autopsy results are out yet.

He is survived by a wife and daughter.

Jo Mersa, aka Joseph Marley was the eldest son of Bob Marley’s son, Stephen.

He released two EPs “Comfortable” in 2014 and “Eternals” in 2021.

Jo Mersa was known for songs like “Burn It Down.”

Tributes from platforms like Tidal have begun to pour in.

Shaggy also expressed his regret for Jo Mersa’s passing.

Even the Jamaican PM sent in his condolences on social media.
