On "The Late Late" show, James Corden recently addressed allegations of being rude to a staff of Balthazar restaurant.
The comedian shared that his wife's food allergies spurred the incident.
After making their food request, the staff ended up bringing the wrong dish for his wife thrice.
Corden shared that the mistakes made him criticize the staff without caution.
He said, “I made — I made a sarcastic, rude comment about cooking it myself."
The tv-personality said he deeply regrets making the remark.
Corden confirmed that he apologized to the restaurant owner Keith McNally.
He hopes to be able to apologize to the staff in person someday.
Some NYC restaurant owners defended Corden in the wake of the allegations.
