Justin Bieber’s criticism of H&M clearly got their ears burning.
On Monday, December 19th, the “Purpose” singer ripped the clothing giant a new one.
“I DIDN’T APPROVE ANY OF THE MERCH COLLECTIONG THAT THEY PUT UP AT H&M.. all without permission and approval. SMH I WOULDN’T BUY IT IF I WERE YOU,” he wrote on his Inst
He followed it up with, “The H&M MERCH THEY MADE OF. ME IS TRASH AND I DIDN’T APPROVE IT. DON’T BUY IT.”
H&M got word of Bieber’s disapproval, and a spokesperson issued their own statement.
“As with all other licensed products and partnerships, H&M followed proper approval procedures,” the statement reads.
H&M did their due diligence and decided to stop the sale of the items.
“Out of respect for the collaboration and Justin Bieber, we have removed the garments from our stores and online."
Many hopeful Beliebers thought they would get their hands on some merchandise at his “Justice” world tour, but that was canceled in February.
