In the caption, she gushed over him and noted he might not have known what he was getting into when he chose to be with her.

The actress and the songwriter met and became friends immediately while collaborating on her 2015 album titled "Breathe In. Breathe Out."

After dating on and off for years, they ended up tying the knot in 2019 in an intimate ceremony in the backyard of their LA home.

She shares two daughters with him, Banks Violet and Mae James, including a son Luca from her first marriage to ex-husband Mike Comrie.

The singer paid tribute to her beau after they went on a trip to a pumpkin patch with their children.

She thanked him for supporting her and taking on more parental responsibility due to her new acting role.

The former teen idol praised him for being excited about her new job and called him dorky.
