Samuel L. Jackson was observed by Twitter users liking X-rated Twitter videos on his 74th birthday.

Many of his fans tried to call his attention to the fact that his likes were public.

The likes were then deleted as Jackson's name started to trend, but only after sharp-eyed followers took screenshots of them.

Fans continued to talk about the gaffe long after the likes were cleared.

Many commented that Jackson had done nothing wrong by liking the x-rated videos.

"SO WHAT, the man enjoys looking at pron. It is not illegal. Stay out of his bedroom," one follower said.

Jackson once stated that he liked the adult website, RedTube.

He said about the site, "It's one of the best pop culture achievements of the last 50 years."

The actor battled with drug addiction and credited his wife for helping him overcome the habit.
