The video dropped at – you guessed it – midnight!

By noon the following day, it was in the #4 trending spot on YouTube.

Fans had nothing but praise for Taylor Swift’s latest music video.

The five-minute short put a twist on the story of Cinderella.

The cast included the HAIM sisters, Laura Dern, and several other famous faces.

It also featured her longtime collaborator Jack Antonoff.

“Everyone agrees that Taylor Swift isn't just a singer-songwriter, she's also a very effective storyteller!” one fan commented.
