On Wednesday, Elon Musk visited the “beautiful” Apple HQ.
He shared a video of a fountain before his “good conversation” with Tim Cook.
Musk said they “resolved the misunderstanding about Twitter potentially being removed from the App Store.”
“Tim was clear that Apple never considered doing so,” Musk added.
That got a lot of Twitter users curious about the details behind Musk’s first tweet.
On Monday, he tweeted, “Apple has also threatened to withhold Twitter from its App Store, but won’t tell us why.”
Platformer managing editor Zoë Schiffer had one theory as to where the “misunderstanding” came from.
“Apple sends apps like Twitter boilerplate emails warning them to clean up their content moderation practices or risk being booted from the App Store,” Schiffer tweeted.
One user had a different theory: “It’s obvious he made everything up for attention like he always does.”
