It’s been a “complicated” year for soccer star Cristiano Roaldo and his long-term partner, Georgina Rodriguez.

The model appears on the January cover of Elle Spain and reflected on the birth and loss of her newborn son in April.

Rodriguez and Ronaldo announced they were expecting twins in October.

She documented her pregnancy on social media.

In her cover story with Elle Spain, Rodriguez described losing one of her twins as “the happiest moment became the saddest.”

She admitted 2022 has been the most “complicated” year of her life and one she “won’t forget.”

“It is something that will accompany me for life and that we will not be able to forget,” Rodriguez explained.

While the couple experienced the worst form of pain any parent can imagine, the 28-year-old model gushed over their children.

Rodriguez said they were the “most important” thing in her life, adding that she feels “lucky” for her “beautiful” family.
