Chaka Khan made an appearance at the 26th iteration of the Angel Ball on Monday night.
Per Page Six, she said she was impressed by the quality of work younger artists put out.
The star singer also took some time to call out artists who use auto-tune.
She told artists that use auto-tune to get a job in a post office.
Chaka also said female artists had low self-esteem.
She performed “Tell Me Something Good” and “I’m Every Woman” at the ball.
This year’s Angel ball raised $2.8 million to fund cancer research.
It included an auction that sold artwork and jewelry.
