On Tuesday night, she seemed to call out Selena Gomez and her “Ice Cream” music video.

On Wednesday, she had deleted the caption and replaced it with three red rose emojis.

However, fans called out the “Toxic” singer and demanded she apologize to Selena.

By Thursday morning, fans were slamming her “non-apology.”

Britney wrote a lengthy post saying her original post wasn’t even about Selena.

Instead, she said that she was referring to Kelis’ “Milkshake” music video.

She said that she was “honestly referencing my days when I was younger” and faced body shaming in the industry.

However, some fans weren’t buying it and accused her of “backtracking.”
