Brad William Hanke has died ag age 56

Hanke’s agent confirmed in a statement to E! that the actor died in his sleep.

The cause of the actors death is still unknown.

He previously opened up about some of his health challenges in 2021.

Hanke is popular for his role as Desi Piscatella on “Orange Is The New Black”.

Along with the cast of the show, He won a SAG award for Outstanding Ensemble Cast in a Comedy Series.

Hanke was a former football player in the NFL and retired in 1994 after suffering an injury stint.

Speaking to E! News, Henke’s manager, Matt Delpiano, referred to him as “an incredibly kind man of joyous energy.”

The actor was once married to Katelin Chesna from 2001 to 2008.
