Blink 182 is back with a vengeance.
The band announced on Tuesday, October 11, that they would be going on tour, dropping a new album AND a brand-new song on Friday, October 14.
Travis Barker, Mark Hoppus and Tom DeLonge announced in a video message that the band is back together.
Tom DeLonge posted on Instagram the insane amount of time, or lack thereof, for the tour to sell out.
“So, this little trio has almost sold out the entire world in a few hours on the advanced ticketing opening… Jesus. Yes, I’m tripping,” he began.
DeLonge warned fans of scalpers who are getting large amounts of tickets and jacking up the prices.
He also took a moment to thank Matt Skiba, who stepped in for DeLonge when he left the group for good in 2015.
“Hi Matt- Tom DeLonge here. I wanted to take a minute to say thank you for all that you have done to keep the band alive and thriving in my absence.”
“So from my heart to yours, thank you for being a member of our band. 🤘🏻,” he concluded.
