Austin Butler says he wishes girlfriend Kaia Gerber's ex Jacob Elordi "all the best" as he stars in the new Elvis Presley movie.

"I just wish him all the best," Butler told Variety during his appearance on the red carpet of the Golden Globes.

The American actor previously starred in Baz Luhrmann's version and landed an award at the ceremony.

 Butler and Elordi have not spoken about the role, although their link with Gerber might hinder the possibility.

Elordi was first linked with Gerber in September 2020 and ended their affair in November 2021.

Shortly after, Butler began dating the model, and they went Instagram official in 2022.

They are still together despite rumors that they split in August 2022.

Elordi's version of the Elvis movie is titled "Priscilla."

It will focus on the widow of the iconic singer, Priscilla Presley, and is inspired by her 1985 memoir "Elvis and Me."
