Alec Baldwin and “Rust” producers settled the wrongful death lawsuit filed by the Hutchins estate.
However, it appears his legal troubles are far from over.
“Rust” script supervisor Mamie Mitchell also filed a lawsuit against the actor and producers.
She alleged that they were jointly responsible for safety violations on set.
In September, a judge ruled that the production company would not be liable.
In his ruling, the judge said that only Baldwin was responsible for his actions (firing the gun).
Baldwin filed a motion to be removed from the civil lawsuit.
However, on Tuesday, the judge denied his motion to strike.
Mitchell can now pursue her negligence and other claims against the actor.
